The Washington Wizards are 3-7 in their last 10 games and have lost four in a row. However, the Wiz have been dominating in one statistical category recently. In their last nine games, the over has hit in each and every one.

While hitting the over in nine straight games in the NBA is uncommon, the Wizards have made it look easy during this recent stretch of basketball. It seems like the players have given up a bit on the defensive end, allowing 120.9 points per game (PPG) during their last 14 contests.

For tonight's game against the Brooklyn Nets, the over/under total is 237.5 points, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. With 11 games on the NBA slate, only one – the New Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Lakers – has a higher total, coming in at 238.5 points.

Washington has been the second worst scoring defense in the league this season, giving up 117.0 points per game. Only the Atlanta Hawks give up more, at 118.2 PPG.

While teams that have seemingly quit can be hard to handicap, a trend like this suggests that we're in for another high-scoring contest tonight when the Wizards take on the Nets in Brooklyn.
