The Chicago Blackhawks might be one of the league's worst teams from a record standpoint this season, but lately for gamblers who bet the over they have been one of the most successful teams.

Including their 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars on Sunday, in the Blackhawks' last 20 contests, the game's total has hit the over 19 times. A 19-1 record is ridiculous, any way you slice it.

The Blackhawks face the Anaheim Ducks tonight and the over is 6 goals on FanDuel Sportsbook. The Ducks average the fewest goals per game in the NHL (2.16), but the Blackhawks could make up for the difference.

On the season, the Blackhawks average 3.33 goals per game, which ranks 7th in the NHL. They also surrender 3.73 goals per game, good for 31st in the NHL.

Most hockey overs fall between 5.5 and 6.5 goals, so needless to say, the stats back up the reasoning behind this incredible streak from a gambling perspective.

Even when the sportsbooks have adjusted, bringing the total to 7 or higher, Chicago has still hit the over.

At this point, there's no telling how long this trend will continue, but over bettors are going to ride it until it dies.
