No. 5 Kentucky's domination of No. 1 Tennessee could easily be considered its signature win of the season. However, that victory didn't do much for its National Championship odds.

The Volunteers (+1700) naturally saw their title odds drop after getting blown out by their SEC rivals, but the Wildcats (+1200), surprisingly saw their title odds drop as well, despite such a convincing win. As has been the case for most of the year, Duke (+180) stands pat as the odds-on favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

It doesn't look like Kentucky is getting the respect it deserves and, apparently, the oddsmakers aren't alone in their view of the Wildcats.

Even with the win over Tennessee, Kentucky is a projected two seed in the NCAA Tournament while the Volunteers still remain a projected one seed in CBS' latest March Madness bracket prediction.

Kentucky has a relatively soft schedule going forward, which may not help its case all that much, but a rematch with Tennessee on the road in Knoxville still remains on the calendar. Knocking off the Volunteers on their own turf should go a long way in seeing Kentucky's title odds increase.
