The New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs are the respective No. 1 seeds from the NFC and AFC, but that's been far from a guarantee that we'll see both top teams face off in the Super Bowl.

In fact, according to the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook, there's less than a 22 percent chance that we see the Saints defeat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIII, and less than a 20 percent chance we see the  Chiefs beat the Saints.

As for the other end of the spectrum, the New England Patriots defeating the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl yields the lowest implied probability of all potential Super Bowl matchups and outcomes.

We're also looking at just a 14.8 percent chance of seeing a repeat of arguably the greatest Monday Night Football game of all-time that saw the Rams beat the Chiefs 54-51.

Removing the matchup aspect, the Saints have the greatest implied probability of winning the Super Bowl outright at 36.4 percent. Despite Tom Brady leading the Pats to appearances in three of the last four Super Bowls, and winning Super Bowl LI in 2017, New England and LA currently have the same implied probability to win Super Bowl LIII.
