Lamar Jackson still has a lot of work to do as a passer despite all the success he's seen this season. However, he's proven that he can do some serious damage with his legs. So much damage in fact, that he'd be a top fantasy running back if given positional eligibility.

Jackson's fantasy stats as a runner in his seven starts were great all by themselves, but the rookie signal-caller would have finished as the 20th-ranked fantasy running back in PPR formats this year if you project those numbers across a full 16-game slate.

While impressive, it's highly unlikely that Jackson will continue to produce like that as he develops as a passer.

However, Jackson owners have to be thrilled. The fact that he put up those kinds of numbers without his passing stats speaks volumes of the young signal caller's upside. Anyone who was smart enough to stash him in dynasty leagues just might have a fantasy stud waiting in the wings for next season and beyond.
