[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 1-6 in parlay bets with a -$33.55 payout differential. This month, we're down $43.55].

Game 1: Philadelphia 76ers at Washington Wizards (+3.5, -110), 7 p.m. EST

There is a very noticeable trend developing on home-and-home matchups early on this NBA season and Vegas has certainly taken notice. This line opened with the 76ers being favored by only two points against a Wizards team that they dominated just last night. That line has since jumped up to 3.5 points because 89 percent of the public couldn't help themselves and had to take the 76ers in this one. Folks, when a line looks too good to be true, it usually is. Buck the trend and go with the Wizards with the points at home.

Game 2: Atlanta Hawks at Brooklyn Nets (-9, -110), 7:30 p.m. EST

The Nets come into tonight matching the largest spread (9) in their favor this season. In their other 9-point spread, the Nets won by eight against the Suns. However, tonight the Nets get a tired Hawks team that just played a tough game in Toronto last night. Atlanta will likely be running on fumes, and the Nets get a bit more healthy as Joe Harris and DeMarre Carroll are expected back in the lineup. Brooklyn has gone 12-4 over its last 16 games and surprisingly sit at the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Game 3: Orlando Magic at Utah Jazz: First Half Line – (-5.5, -112)

To close out this parlay, we go with a first-half line. In fact, it might actually be the more intelligent play, considering all the success Utah has had in the first half of their games this season. The Jazz have allowed the second fewest first-half points in their last 15 games and also average close to 10 more first-half points at home then when they play on the road. Expect Utah to run away with this one from the get-go.
