Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner is likely to play in the team's Week 17 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals after practicing in full all week.

While Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin called Conner questionable to play, the back's practice schedule puts him on track to return after missing the last three games due to an ankle injury.

This is great news for a Steelers team that needs a win, coupled with a Baltimore Ravens loss, in order to make the playoffs.

If Connor does suit up, that essentially relegates Jaylen Samuels back to a third-down role on passing downs. Samuels has filled in admirably over the last few weeks, but becomes an after-thought in all aspects of Week 17 fantasy football.

Connor put up RB1 numbers all season to the tune of 909 rushing yards, 467 receiving yards on 52 catches and 13 total touchdowns in 12 games as the Steelers' starting running back.

It's do-or-die time for the Steelers and it looks like they'll be back at full strength when they take on the Bengals on Sunday.
