The most dominant fantasy football player of the 2018 season could sit out for yet another week, possibly derailing any of his owners' championship aspirations if they go all the way to Week 17.

According to Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, All-World running back Todd Gurley may sit out for the second consecutive week while he deals with inflammation in his left knee, an issue he's been dealing with since Week 15.

The second-highest scoring running back in PPR leagues despite missing two games, Gurley's absence would be an absolute deathblow for his owners -- just ask those who had him in 16-week leagues.

The All-Pro back is currently considered day-to-day, so there is some hope he'll suit up. However, all Gurley owners must prepare for the worst as we approach the final week of the season.

Those who own the All-Pro running back and are still alive in their fantasy finals should make a beeline to the waiver wire for C.J. Anderson (If he's still available), who had a monster fantasy performance in Gurley's stead, or John Kelly if you're desperate.
