C.J. Anderson was expected to be nothing more than desperation play in fantasy football this weekend taking the place of Todd Gurley in the Los Angeles Rams' backfield. But after being signed just days before the team's Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals, Anderson put up a monster day on championship weekend, to the tune of 20 carries for 167 yards and touchdown.

After carrying some fantasy teams to victory, the veteran running back asked those he helped win a championship to help those who need it most this holiday season.

Anderson took to Twitter, asking his fantasy owners to donate to his Dreams Never Die Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to provide inner-city and low-income youth in Vallejo, CA, and Houston, TX, with the resources they need to succeed.

And if you were one of those owners that rode Anderson to victory, donating a portion of your winnings to charity is the least you can do for a back that tallied 22.7 FanDuel fantasy points for you and your squad. While that number is impressive, in and of itself, what makes his day even more eye popping is just how many of his rushing yards were gained after initial contact

A whopping 105 of Anderson's 167 yards on the ground came after contact, more than Gurley has ever gained in a game and the most ever recorded by a Rams running back in the past decade. Not bad for a guy bagging groceries just a few days ago.
