In one of the weakest years for tight ends in fantasy football, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz has been one of the few that have shined above and turned in an incredible season -- especially for those fantasy owners that have him in a PPR league.

During Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, Ertz broke the record for the most receptions by a tight end in a single season in NFL history when he hauled in his 111th catch.

Ertz has been not only one of the best tight ends, but one of the few bright spots on an Eagles team that has struggled to replicate the same magic that carried them to a Super Bowl victory last season.

With Wentz on the shelf likely for the rest of the year, the Eagles, yet again, have Nick Foles under center. Also, if you're in a fantasy league that goes into Week 17, then Ertz will be playing and building on this record again next week when the Eagles go on the road to face off against the 22nd ranked passing defense in the Washington Redkins.
