It's amazing what a pair of good weeks can do.

Prior to Week 14, Derrick Henry was widely considered a fantasy football bust. No matter where you drafted him, his production did not match his output as he averaged just six points per game in standard formats. He then exploded for 238 yards and 4 touchdowns in Week 14 and 170 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 15 thus skyrocketing up the rankings.

After those two outstanding performances, Henry is now the highest-rated running back in the NFL this season, according to Pro Football Focus.

It's as if his last two weeks erased the fact that he split a backfield with Dion Lewis all season. You have to give Henry credit for his last two games. With 408 yards and six touchdowns, he has been a one-man wrecking crew.

Still, it's hard to imagine that he's had a better full season than players like Todd Gurley, a legitimate MVP candidate, Saquon Barkley, the likely Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Pro-Bowl snubs Christian McCaffrey and Ezekiel Elliott.

Those two games have essentially saved Henry's season, and putting him in the conversation with these other top backs doesn't seem all that crazy anymore. He's still outside the top-10 in yards (11th), yards per game (17th) and rushes of 20 yards or more (tied 33rd), but has crept toward the top of the charts in yards per carry (tied for 9th) and touchdowns (4th).

We will likely look back at Henry's numbers next season and just see his incredible end-of-season stats, but his inconsistencies were clearly saved by this two-game outburst. When drafting next season, fantasy owners will need to decide which Henry they're getting and decide just how early to take the Titans' lead back. He could go anywhere between the second and fifth rounds, but be sure to err on the side of caution with Henry.
