3 Waiver-Wire Replacements for Jack Doyle and Jeff Heuerman in Fantasy

Tight ends Jack Doyle and Jeff Heuerman both sustained season-ending injuries in Week 12. Obviously, this is the last thing fantasy owners needed as we head towards the playoffs. Each of these guys were recent waiver-wire adds, so this means you'll have to do another deep dive and find someone viable.

No worries, folks, we got you covered. Here are three guys still out there that can make an impact on your rosters going forward.

3. Matt LaCosse, TE - Denver Broncos

With Heuerman and his 77 percent snap share out for the rest of the season, LaCosse (available in 100 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues) should have nearly all the snaps going forward for the Broncos at tight end. LaCosse actually scored his touchdown while Heuerman was still healthy enough to play in the game, but this is certainly a good sign going forward, just in terms of being on the field.

2. Vernon Davis, TE - Washington Redskins

With more and more receivers getting injured and a new quarterback at the helm in D.C., look for Davis (available in 97 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues) to make an impact for the Redskins the rest of the season. Davis had his best performance of the season on Thanksgiving Day on the strength of a long touchdown. He's far from a sure thing each week, but the Redskins do have great matchups for tight ends against the Eagles and Giants in each of their next two games.

1. Chris Herndon, TE - New York Jets

Herdon (available in 92 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues) continues to make our list of streaming tight ends each week, but apparently no one wants to listen. He posted another big day on Sunday, catching seven passes on eight targets for 57 yards. As long as the Jets' receivers continue to miss games, this guy will continue to see more looks.
