Game 1: Orlando Magic @ Denver Nuggets (-7.5, -110), 9:10 p.m. EST

Although Denver has cooled off a bit since their incredibly hot start, this is a good spot for them at home against a less-talented Magic squad. Orlando is coming off a deflating loss against the Toronto Raptors while Denver is coming off a win against Minnesota.

The Nuggets allow an average of 104.3 points per game while the Magic score 106.6 points per game. Visiting teams in Denver usually have trouble scoring due to the altitude, so expect the Nuggets to take advantage of that here and play with a fast tempo all night in an attempt to try and run the Magic out of the gym. This is a game on paper Denver should win easily, so with only a 7.5 point spread to cover at home, lay the points.

Game 2: Portland Trail Blazers @ Golden State Warriors (-2, -110), 10:40 p.m.

This is a big "show me what you got" game for the Warriors. Coming off four-straight losses for the first time during the Steve Kerr era, it's time for the Warriors to put up or shut up. The Blazers currently sit at second in the Western Conference standings at 12-6, only a half a game ahead of the Warriors who sit at 12-7.

The Warriors are one of the best, if not the best home team in the NBA and only having to cover a two-point spread makes this as close to a pick'em game as possible. Golden State is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games at home against Portland and 17-7 ATS in its last 24 against the Blazers overall. Bet on Golden State to show some heart in front of the home fans tonight.
