Aaron Donald has been the most dominant defensive player in the NFL this season, but you don't really understand just how dominant he's been until you realize he's on the verge of achieving something no defensive tackle has ever done.

Donald has been living in offensive backfields all year and seems almost impossible to stop at this point in the season. If that just so happens to hold true, he could become the first defensive tackle in the history of the NFL to lead the league in sacks, quarterback hits and tackles for loss.

It's incredible to think about, right? Especially when you take into account all of the Hall-of-Fame interior linemen that have graced the league.

With 14.5 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and 28 quarterback hits already to his name, Donald has a pretty sizeable lead over the next best player on each leaderboard (Danielle Hunter with 11.5 sacks and 16.5 TFL, Dee Ford with 22 QB hits).

Nothing is guaranteed, however, but even if he's unable to pull off the pass-rushing triple crown, Donald is undeniably having a season for the ages.
