The Chiefs have one of best high-powered offenses in NFL history and it was on full display in their 54-51 thriller against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night. Patrick Mahomes threw for 478 yards and six touchdowns to a plethora of different receivers. Except for Sammy Watkins. Watkins had 1 reception for 4 yards.

That's rough in a game with over 1,000 yards of offense and 105 total points scored.

This stems from Watkins foot injury that kept him out of practice this week, even after he was deemed ready to go and active for the game. He didn't get much run on the field.

It's brutal for anyone who was relying on Watkins to get a piece of the Chiefs offensive pie in this game to win an important fantasy matchup. There was concern that Watkins wouldn't play but he was listed as active leading to him staying in quite a few lineups. Owners were rewarded for their trust with .9 points.

Watkins hasn't been overly impressive this season with 40 receptions for 519 yards and 3 touchdowns. Most of his fantasy value came in Week 8 when he had 8 receptions for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He also hit 100 yards in Week 2, but that's about it. Watkins continues to be viable because he plays for the Chiefs but Monday night was a massive disappointment.

He'll have a chance to redeem himself in Week 12 against the lowly Oakland Raiders.
