Outside of Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees has been the quarterback to own at this point in the season, averaging 30.28 FanDuel fantasy points per game in the month of November. However, even with his late surge, Brees has somehow been outscored this season by two middling quarterbacks, on the same team no less.

Much to everyone's surprise, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterbacks Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jameis Winston have combined for more fantasy points than the Saints' signal-caller, despite the pair combining to throw 23 interceptions so far this season.

It boggles the mind, wouldn't you say?

Brees' status as a must-start option has never been in question, but starting either of the Bucs quarterbacks would be a risky move despite the fantasy points they have accumulated this season. Their inconsistency has put them on a short leash for the remainder of the year but it will be Winston under center when the Bucs take on the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday.

The Bucs have lost seven of their last eight games, so rolling with either Winston or Fitzpatrick is a high-risk, high-reward move. There have been a couple of times each of them has been benched mid-game so far this season, so you do run that risk if they're your starting quarterback in fantasy football.
