When he's been healthy, Joe Mixon has been one of the better fantasy running backs in the NFL this season. He missed two games earlier in the season due to a knee injury and still sits as the 15th ranked running back.

However, this past week he reportedly reaggravated the knee injury and he missed some practice time. He managed to play on Sunday against Baltimore but clearly wasn't 100 percent.

Mixon only managed to rush for 14 yards on 12 carries and caught three passes for 38 yards in his limited action. His day was ultimately salvaged by a touchdown. The Ravens are a tough matchup for any running back, but the lack of snaps seriously hurt his upside going in this game.

If the knee continues to be a problem, Mixon is no longer a borderline RB1 and might even drop to an RB2 option. Gio Bernard would benefit the most if Mixon is sidelined.

There are a lot of intriguing options available at running back this late in the season such as Gus Edwards for Baltimore and Josh Adams for Philadelphia. It's worth watching the injury report this week and possibly handicapping Mixon with Bernard in case his knee continues to be a problem going forward.
