Joe Mixon's 62% snap rate yesterday was his lowest all season in a game he didn't leave early.— Jared Smola (@SmolaDS) November 19, 2018
Wonder if that Thursday knee issue was a factor. Worth monitoring this week.
Joe Mixon in #Bengals four wins: 23.3 touches, 122.3 yards from scrimmage, 1.0 TDs, 19.7 PPR points per game.— Graham Barfield (@GrahamBarfield) November 19, 2018
Mixon in their four losses: 14.8 touches, 68 yards from scrimmage, 0.5 TDs, 12.8 PPR points per game.
If the knee continues to be a problem, Mixon is no longer a borderline RB1 and might even drop to an RB2 option. Gio Bernard would benefit the most if Mixon is sidelined.
There are a lot of intriguing options available at running back this late in the season such as Gus Edwards for Baltimore and Josh Adams for Philadelphia. It's worth watching the injury report this week and possibly handicapping Mixon with Bernard in case his knee continues to be a problem going forward.
