Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has finally come into his own this season as the playmaker the Bengals expected him to be when they drafted Mixon in 2017. 


That is just as long as he's been healthy, of course. 


However, that has been an issue with his knee surgery earlier this season, and now most recently, a mysterious no-show at the Bengals practice this Thursday. 

For most who are even remotely familiar with Mixon and his time at the University of Oklahoma, they are likely also familiar with the off-the-field baggage he came with when Cincinnati took him in the second round. 

And with all five players who were limited with injury issues earlier in the week returning to the field today without a trace of Mixon in sight, it certainly raises questions about his absence. 

However, Mixon was officially listed as a limited participant with a knee injury in upon the Bengals' injury report released later Thursday afternoon,

Mixon's early absence and limited status certainly don't bode well for a Sunday performance at 100 percent. So, we'll just have to wait and see what happens leading up to Cincinnati's game against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
