There was a time not that long ago where Jason Pierre-Paul was one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. After an average rookie year, he burst onto the scene by recording 16.5 sacks for the Giants on their way to a Super Bowl victory in the 2011-12 season.

Pierre-Paul continued to play fairly well for New York until he suffered a horrific hand injury on the Fourth of July in 2015. After that unfortunate incident, JPP still came back and decided to play for the Giants, recording 15 combined sacks in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

He signed a four-year, $62 million contract with the Giants before the 2017 season, and appeared to be a Giant for life. Early in 2018, the Giants traded him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Needless to say, Pierre-Paul hasn't exactly gotten over it and is ready for this game against the Giants on Sunday.

JPP is having another solid year for Tampa in 2018, with 8.0 sacks and 27 tackles in nine games, while also accumulating 13 quarterback hits and one forced fumble. He'll be coming after his former teammate Eli Manning all day on Sunday and, lucky for JPP, the Giants quarterback has suffered the most sacks in the NFL this season.

Manning has already been sacked 32 times in nine games, and he might be on the ground quite a few more times on Sunday. Pierre-Paul will look to reach double-digit sacks on the season for the first time since 2014.
