The Le'Veon Bell fantasy nightmare is finally over. After Bell didn't report by November 13, he can no longer play this season and unless you're in a dynasty league, he should no longer be on your roster.

If you're lucky enough to own James Conner, this was great news. There's no longer the threat of Bell coming back and stealing carries.

However, heading into Week 11, Conner is questionable with a concussion, though he is expected to be able to play. Still, there are a couple options for Conner owners to protect themselves with.

Both Samuels and Ridley have gotten some carries this season, but at this point in time, it appears Samuels will be the true backup. The Steelers are very high on the rookie out of NC State.

Samuels is actually a fun story because he was a tight end in college and thus has tight end eligibility in some leagues. So far this year he has 10 carries for 26 yards and 3 receptions for 22 yards and one touchdown.

If you've been around football for the past 10 years, you already know who Stevan Ridley is. Ridley had his best years with the Patriots, rushing for 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2012, before leaving New England and basically disappearing. He's a serviceable backup but clearly does not have the upside that Samuels has.

Samuels will be the guy if Conner can't play this season, so if you have Conner, it might be time to get his backup too.
