Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson will be in the team's starter on Thursday night when they take on the Green Bay Packers. This is detrimental news to owners of fellow running backs Mike Davis and waiver-wire darling Rashaad Penny, who will certainly both see fewer carries for the team.

Carson's hip injury has been a lingering issue all season, but it has only caused him to miss two of the Seahawks' nine games so far. He leads the team with 111 carries and 497 rushing yards.

As the Seahawks have leaned more on their running game in recent weeks, it's possible for one of these backs to have a productive game against the Packers. After all, they are allowing the 11th-most rushing yards per game (96.0) to running backs this season.

The problem, however, is knowing which back will be the one that soars above the rest. With Carson being named the starter, he sits as a FLEX option while David and Penny are dart throws, at best.
