One month down, and lots of basketball left to be played, But without further ado, here are the NBA Power Rankings for this week.

Tanking Teams: These teams are are fighting for the No. 1 pick.

30 – Cleveland Cavaliers (1-11) – (Last Week: 30)

No change here -- there's no hope in Cleveland.

29 -- Phoenix Suns (2-10) – (Last Week: 26)

28 – Atlanta Hawks (3-10) – (Last Week: 24)

27 -- New York Knicks (4-10) – (Last Week: 27)

Two of the Knicks four wins are against the Hawks. That's why they're one spot ahead of them, and not moving anywhere higher than 27.

26 -- Washington Wizards (3-9) – (Last Week: 25)

25 – Chicago Bulls (4-9) (Last Week: 29)

24 – Dallas Mavericks (4-8) – (Last Week: 24)

23 -- Minnesota Timberwolves (4-9) – (Last Week: 20)

We'll see how the Jimmy Butler trade impacts this team. Could be good. Could be bad. There seems to be no in between.

22 – Orlando Magic (6-7) – (Last Week: 23)

21 – Brooklyn Nets (6-7) – (Last Week: 22)

The Nets cap off a tough four-game Western Conference road trip tonight in Minnesota -- they're 4-2 over their last six games, so a win tonight could put them in a much better spot.

Lottery Leaders: These could make the playoffs, or they could land in the lottery.

20 – Miami Heat (5-7) – (Last Week: 21)

19 – Los Angeles Clippers (7-5) – (Last Week: 19)

18 – Charlotte Hornets (7-6) – (Last Week: 18)

17 – Detroit Pistons (6-6) – (Last Week: 17)

The Pistons looked like they would be a force to be reckoned with early on this season, but they have lost five of their last eight games.

16 – Memphis Grizzlies (7-4) – (Last Week: 14)

15 – Sacramento Kings (7-6) – (Last Week: 15)

14 –  New Orleans Pelicans (6-6) – (Last Week: 12)

13 – Indiana Pacers (8-6) – (Last Week: 10)

12 – Oklahoma City Thunder (7-5) – (Last Week: 11)

11 -- Los Angeles Lakers (7-6) – (Last Week: 16)

Everyone relax, all is fine in LA-LA-Land as they went 3-0 this week, and have now gone 7-3 over the last 10 games.

Warriors Wannabes: Likely playoff teams and possible title contenders.

10 – Philadelphia 76ers (8-6) – (Last Week: 13)

9 – Houston Rockets (5-7) – (Last Week: 9)

We really should move them to the 3-spot since they got rid of Melo, but we'll let them prove it to us first.

8 – Utah Jazz (6-6) – (Last Week: 8)

7 – San Antonio Spurs (7-4) – (Last Week: 7)

6 – Boston Celtics (7-6) – (Last Week: 6)

5 – Denver Nuggets (9-4) – (Last Week: 3)

Rough week for the Nuggets, who went winless in three games -- two of which were at home. It doesn't get much easier as the Rockets, sans Melo, are up next.

4 – Milwaukee Bucks (10-3) – (Last Week: 4)

3 –   Portland Trail Blazers (10-3) – (Last Week: 5)

2 – Golden State Warriors (11-2) – (Last Week: 1)

1 – Toronto Raptors (12-1) – (Last Week: 2)
We've got a new No. 1 -- and they're not even from America! That's right, folks, our brothers to the north have rightfully taken over the top spot as the only team in the NBA with one loss.
