Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett has not fared well preparing his team on short weeks. And this probably isn't the best time to be in this scenario, considering they travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles with their season essentially on the line.

Garrett is a dreadful 2-14-1 against the spread with his team playing on a short week. Of course, this happens often for the Cowboys since they play at least one Thursday game on Thanksgiving every season.

On the flip side, the Eagles are coming off their bye week and head coach Doug Pederson has been considered one of the brighter minds in football. Philly even had the bye week to acclimate their newest acquisition, wide receiver Golden Tate, into the game plan.

There has been a ton of hoopla surrounding Garrett and his status as head coach. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has said that he wouldn't fire Garrett during the season, but two consecutive embarrassing losses in primetime could have him rethinking that stance.
