Mike Evans has been a top-tier fantasy receiver for most of the season between the great quarterback play of both Ryan Fitzpatrick and then Jameis Winston and now Fitz again.

Evans, prior to Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, was the ninth-ranked wide receiver in PPR formats, averaging 17.4 points per week.

In Week 9, that all came to an end. Evans had one catch for 16 yards and a total of 2.1 fantasy points in PPR formats, infuriating fantasy owners across the country.

Despite being targeted 10 times, Evans only came up with the one grab. James Bradberry, the cornerback covering Evans for most of the day, had to make sure to get his souvenir of a signed jersey. He's probably the only one who wants to remember Evans' performance from today.

While this was a terrible game for Evans, it shouldn't worry fantasy owners too much. Normally you might be concerned about his matchup next week against the Washington Redskins, who have been a great pass defense this year, 4th ranked in fantasy. But even they just got lit up at home for 38 points by Matt Ryan and the Falcons, so there's always hope for a player as good as Evans.
