At this point, I think it would simply be an outright injustice to readers nationwide not to spotlight how well The Duel's weekly list of college football upset alert teams has done lately. After nailing three of our four doomsday projections for favorites in Week 9, we've now called better than 68 percent of our upsets correctly (13-of-19) since Week 5. Here are the four teams that need to be on notice for upset alert in Week 10.
4. Louisville Cardinals (+40) @ No. 2 Clemson Tigers

It's almost unbelievable that 40-point lines still exist by Week 10 of this season, especially between two conference opponents, but that's exactly what we have on our hands in Clemson this Saturday. Despite a 2-6 record, Louisville hasn't lost a game by 40 points all season, and the Cardinals even opened the year against No. 1 Alabama with a 51-14 loss (by 37 points) after a pair of late scores.
3. No. 16 Iowa Hawkeyes (+2.5) @ Purdue Boilermakers

Purdue may have knocked off then-No. 2 Ohio State the last time the Boilermakers played at home back in Week 8, but there didn't seem to be much carryover in an underwhelming 23-13 loss at Michigan State in Week 9 against a Spartan team without many key starters. Not to mention, the College Football Playoff Committee saw something in the Hawkeyes after elevating them from their No. 19 AP Poll ranking to No. 16 in the first CFP Poll.
2. No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide @ No. 3 LSU Tigers (+14.5)

I don't care who you are, or who others might think you are; if you're going on the road into a place nicknamed "Death Valley" against the No. 3 team in the nation facing a -14.5-point spread, chances are you aren't going to cover. Even last year, when Alabama was much better than the Tigers and at home, they won by only 14. In fact, the last time Alabama beat LSU by 14 or more was 2013, and the last time it did so in Baton Rouge was 2002.
1. No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Northwestern Wildcats (+9.5)

Most would agree that Notre Dame is four games away from an undefeated finish that would be enough to catapult the Fighting Irish into their first College Football Playoff appearance, but Northwestern may be the biggest obstacle in that stretch. Northwestern is fresh off a manhandling of then-No. 20 Wisconsin at home. The Wildcats also nearly upset Michigan in a 20-17 finish that saw Northwestern blow a 17-0 lead. Dare I say the Wildcats may even take this one straight up?
