Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas put his odds at 50-50 yesterday when asked about whether he'll be traded before Tuesday's deadline

"I'll be on a squad," said Thomas. "I'll be able to play ball. I'll be able to do what I love. If it's the Broncos, I would love it. But if it's not, it's a business. I gotta deal with it."

It has obviously been a frustrating time for Thomas over these last two seasons as he failed to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since his second season in the league last year, mainly because of inconsistent quarterback play.

Now that the Broncos have an emerging receiver in Courtland Sutton, DT isn't as much of a priority to this offense, and the Broncos feel like they can get something valuable in return for his services.

"How would you feel at your job [if] your boss, whoever, said they wanted you someplace else?" Thomas said, via Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic. " And you come into work every day and have to think about it? How would you feel? But I had to do it for my team, like it was normal, act like it was normal. It just kept coming up, from left and right. ... I had to think about it. ... It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next couple days.

Thomas also added, "I think it should have never gotten out, to tell you the truth. I would have never been thinking about it if it never got it. Nobody would be."

All in all, it's just best for DT and the Broncos to cut bait. They're not going anywhere quick, and the time is ticking on the productive part of Thomas' career.
