David Fizdale put himself in a tough situation when he agreed to become the head coach of the New York Knicks. However, if Dwyane Wade says that Fizdale has what it takes to turn the franchise around, there just might be some truth to it.

The future Hall-of-Fame shooting guard had some high praise for his former coach, saying that Fizdale could help draw elite free agents to the Big Apple due to his ability to connect with players.

If anyone knows what kind of coach Fizdale is, it would definitely be Wade. The 12-time All-Star formed a close relationship with Fizdale in their time together in Miami and claims the first-year Knicks head coach had a huge hand in shaping his game into what it is today.

Once one of the NBA's marquee franchises, the Knicks have become a laughing stock by scaring away nearly every free agent that comes to their front door. If what Wade says about Fizdale is true, Knicks fans might actually see a winning team in the next couple of years.
