Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook could be out until Week 11 of the NFL season following the Vikings bye week, according to multiple sources. The former Florida State standout has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury and the team would love to keep him well-rested heading into the final push of the season.

The news means that Latavius Murray will continue to handle most of the backfield duties, and the Vikings will gladly welcome that. Over the last two weeks, Murray has run the ball 39 times for 224 yards and three touchdowns -- a significant improvement from the 106 yards he had posted in the five games prior to that.

Fellow Vikings running backs Mike Boone and Roc Thomas have hardly made a blip on the fantasy radar, but should anything happen to Murray they'll be thrust into a primary role.

All in all, it is Murray's world right now and the rest of the Vikings backfield is just living in it.
