The Le'Veon Bell saga has been at a stalemate for over two months now and while the Steelers have found a fantastic replacement in James Conner, they still want their All-Pro running back on the roster.

There were some reports that Bell would be back during the Steelers bye week, but that was last week and he didn't show. Now it's Week 8 and once again he's nowhere to be found.

While it's absolutely Bell's right to hold out for as long as he can, he did just give up around $800k for that bye week where he wouldn't have even needed to play. But as far as the actual holdout goes, we're nearly at the end.

Week 11, or more specifically the Tuesday following Week 10, is the last possible day that Bell can report to the Steelers and still play this season. If he sits out past that point, he can no longer play or earn any money for any team this season and the Steelers can franchise tag him again next year if they wanted to. So Bell will almost certainly report by that date or he might not be able to hit free agency at all next year.

So if you're still holding onto Bell in a fantasy league and hoping he'll be able to help you in the playoffs, you may be in luck. Bell will almost certainly be back by Week 11 and then hopefully have rounded into playing shape by Week 13 or 14. So if you've kept him on the roster for this long, it's worth just keeping him around. It's what the Steelers are doing.
