Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles seems to be back to his woeful ways. The Jaguars benched their starting quarterback mid-game amidst his atrocious start.

Prior to being benched, Bortles had a stat line of 6-of-12 passing for 61 yards 0 TD's and a passer rating of 64.9. He also had two fumbles.

The Jaguars were down 20-0 when they elected to bring in backup quarterback Cody Kessler. He led them to a touchdown in his first possession.

Kessler has a career record of 0-8 as a starter. While the sample size is small, it's still not great, even if he's spent most of his career on the Browns.

Whether this means Blake will be benched moving forward or if this was done to just try light a fire under the offense this week is still to be determined.

Whichever way you slice it, it looks like the Jaguars have big problems at quarterback once again.
