Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy exited the Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts with an apparent head injury.

The play occurred early in the first quarter when McCoy was trying to dodge tacklers but was up-ended near the sideline. He landed awkwardly and was helped back to the locker room.

McCoy's injury now paves the way for Chris Ivory to take over as the leader in the Bills' backfield.

Ivory has rushed the ball 51 times for 129 yards and one touchdown this season. Additionally, he has caught five passes for 104 yards -- that yardage is good enough for fourth-best on the team.
