The New Orleans Saints haven't played since their Week 5 beatdown of the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. However, that hasn't stopped fantasy owners from wondering about the potential of rookie wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith, now that Ted Ginn Jr. has been placed on injured reserve.

Still fresh in the minds of fantasy owners is Smith's ultra-efficient Week 5 performance where he caught all three targets for 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Most notably, Smith was on the receiving end of history when Drew Brees broke the NFL record for career passing yards on a 62-yard connection.

But fantasy owners might want to remember that Drew Brees and the Saints have a horrible recent track record against a vaunted Baltimore Ravens' defense that has allowed a total of 15 points in 12 second-half quarters this season.

However, going forward, it appears like Smith will be right in the middle of the Saints' high-powered offense. Side note, he played the second-most snaps of any Saints receiver in Week 5.
