Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is expected to take the field when his team faces the Washington Redskins in Week 6. The 12-year veteran was injured in the season opener and has not played since.

After going nine consecutive seasons without missing a game, Olsen has now missed 12 of the Panthers last 20 contests.

This latest foot injury has been hampering the tight end for some time now, and it's not a good sign going forward. He might be able to do well in the short-term, lining up as a low-end TE1 upon his return, but this could be the beginning of the end for his career.
