Last night's 6-5 win by the Milwaukee Brewers over the Los Angeles Dodgers got the home team off to an unexpected start in the National League Championship Series, at least according to sportsbooks.

Now that the Brewers have a one-game lead, their odds to win the World Series have done a literal 180, putting them ahead of the Dodgers. The Brewers are at +280 and the Dodgers sit at +450. They're both still behind the American League teams with the Astros and Red Sox at +185 and +230, respectively.

Before the NLCS began, the Brewers came in with +450 odds to have the final champagne celebration of the season. On the flip side, the Dodgers were at +270.

It's only one game, but the oddsmakers have certainly taken notice of a Brewers team that has yet to lose a game this postseason.
