3 Bold Predictions for Sunday's MLB Playoff Games

Tonight gives us two Game 3s of the MLB Playoffs with the Milwaukee Brewers traveling to face the Colorado Rockies and the Atlanta Braves hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers. We've got some bold predictions, so let's check them out.

1. Rockies Score 10+ Runs

The Rockies are tired of getting held down by the Brewers' elite pitching. For just one day, the Rockies can return to their home stadium (the most potent for offense) and get the sticks going once again. In fact, they have been quite solid against left-handed pitching this season, much to the dismay of Brewers starter Wade Miley.

2. Sean Newcomb Pitches Another Gem Against the Dodgers

Back on July 29, Newcomb came one out shy of throwing a no-hitter against the same Los Angeles Dodgers team he'll face tonight. While it's highly unlikely that Newcomb goes the distance in a playoff game, he can still have another dominant performance against these elite bats.

3. Braves' Bats Finally Come Alive

Atlanta has failed to put a run across in each of the first two games of this series, but just like the Rockies, the home-cooking should get them back in the right frame of mind. SunTrust Park is a great venue for hitters, and that was evident during the regular season as they scored the eighth-most runs in home games.
