Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon isn't expected to be unleashed when the team faces the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. Fantasy owners of his were expecting big things with Gio Bernard out for 2-4 weeks, but it appears like they'll have to be a little more patient.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis mentioned earlier today that Mixon has been limited in practices because of his conditioning during the rehab process. Reading into that, it's fully possible that we see third-string running back Mark Walton get involved on the touches.

Evan Silva's tweet doesn't give Walton nearly enough optimism in this scenario. Things are a bit different with Mixon banged up, and Lewis has taken notice.

"I think that was a little shock to [Walton's] system. Since he's gotten an opportunity to suit up and play he's really taken advantage," said Lewis. "We have a comfort level with him."

It's no secret that Mixon is the one worth rostering this Sunday, but Walton is definitely a guy you want to pick up on the waiver wire. If Mixon isn't truly back to 100 percent health, he could be an injury waiting to happen.
