The quarterback situation in Tampa Bay is the most intriguing situation going on in the National Football League right now.
It was ridiculous to think Jameis Winston would lose his starting position in Week 4, but I mean, who could've imagined Ryan Fitzpatrick playing out of his mind and winning the job
It turns out, Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter was extremely close to pulling Fitzpatrick last week for third-stringer Ryan Griffin.
#Bucs coach Dirk Koetter told his team in a meeting this week he was 1 or 2 plays away from pulling QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and inserting backup Ryan Griffin into the game Monday night. My full story looking at all sides: https://t.co/OONHSslDc3

If you thought having Fitzpatrick as the starter over Winston was insane, imagine how this would've gone last week.
Realistically, it makes sense if you take a step back and look at it. This man is far from being the future in Tampa and had an awful first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. The Bucs were down 30-10 at halftime, and it wasn't all the defense's fault as Fitzmagic threw three interceptions including one returned for a touchdown.
What makes this even crazier is that the Bucs contemplated pulling him for a quarterback who has not thrown a single pass in the NFL.
Despite no official announcement yet, it's being reported that Ryan Fitzpatrick will start against the Bears this afternoon: https://t.co/nlxSPGGACZ

Things are upside down in Tampa, and it could only get weirder from here on out.
