Eagles running back Jay Ajayi's injury-status roller coaster took another unexpected turn Friday morning when Philadelphia head coach Doug Pederson said the back was "good to go" for the team's Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Despite the team's last two updates on Ajayi listing him as absent from Wednesday's practice and revealing that he's suffering from a minor fracture in his back, Pederson was more than optimistic about the halfback starting on the road in Nashville this Sunday.

Well, we certainly didn't see that one coming. While, of course, a "good to go" status doesn't mean the same thing as being 100-percent healthy and ready to carry the load Sunday, it's a positive outlook for Ajayi's fantasy owners.

While the running back has been dealing with injury issues since Week 2, Pederson claims Ajayi will be a go against the Titans, making him an RB2/flex play once he's officially active this weekend.
