As the season moves along, players begin to standout in season-long award races. When it comes to NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds has begun to do just that.

The Bills rookie linebacker was only 19 years old when he was drafted, so there was thought to be some level of a learning curve despite his talent and athleticism. Edmunds has put all that talk to bed through the first three weeks of the season.

Edmunds has played every defensive snap of the year for the Bills with 24 tackles on the year, including 10 team-leading tackles in Sunday's huge upset win over the Minnesota Vikings on the road.

Edmunds also has a sack and a forced fumble, putting him right up there with the top rookies in the NFL.

He began the year at +900 and remains at that spot today. Bradley Chubb leads the odds at +300 with Roquan Smith (+600) and Leighton Vander Esch (+700) also ahead of Edmunds.

Coming into the season, Edmunds was an unknown. Now that we've seen him play, his chances of winning are rising, but his odds aren't.

This creates some level of value as long as he continues to play well and his odds stay the same. He's worth a strong look if you're trying to bet on the NFL's best defensive rookie.
