The Eagles beat the Indianapolis Colts Sunday in Carson Wentz's return even without two of their best running backs.

Both Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles were out with injuries, leaving the running duties to Wendall Smallwood, Corey Clement, and Josh Adams, who combined for 142 yards rushing on 32 carries.

Despite their successes, it doesn't appear any of those guys will get a chance to lock down the top role. Head coach Doug Pederson projects both Ajayi and Sproles to be ready for Week 4.

For fantasy owners, it's still worth monitoring throughout the week given it's so early, but if you picked up any of the three guys that played on Sunday, it's probably safe to send them back down to the bench.
