We all knew where today’s Bills-Ravens game was going at the onset, but the Josh Allen era got off to an earlier start than anticipated.

Bills starting quarterback Nathan Peterman was an absolute disaster, going 5-for-18 for 24 yards and two interceptions. He failed to lead the Bills to a first down or a scoring drive.

It turned out to be a great decision inserting Allen into the game. He quickly surpassed Peterman's passing yardage total within one quarter of taking his first snap. Allen even got the Bills into scoring position, where they would add a field goal.

The Bills offense needs any type of spark it can get nowadays. Granted, the weather in Baltimore didn't help matters, but Allen's presence immediately ignited some glimmer of hope.

Many football experts have the Bills ranked as the worst possible team in the NFL before a snap was even played this season. Judging from today's game, this is just another example of these guys knowing a thing or two about a thing or two.
