The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in Sunday’s matchup, putting up 57 points in the first half. That’s significant, considering the total on this game was 50.

The Bucs led 31-24 at halftime.

Hitting the over wasn't a surprise to anyone at all, but the Bucs contributing 31 points to the mix certainly was. Ryan Fitzpatrick is filling in for the suspended Jameis Winston, and he threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns, including a gorgeous 58-yard bomb to Desean Jackson.

Not to be outdone, Saints quarterback Drew Brees threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. Michael Thomas (eight catches for 90 yards and a touchdown) and Alvin Kamara (four catches for 85 yards) both went bananas in the first half as well.

Thomas could've had an even bigger first half, if not for a blown call from the official.

One thing is for certain, folks -- you don't want to miss the second half of this one.
