It happens almost every NFL season. Fans and pundits alike jump aboard the 16-0 bandwagon.


If there are any teams that come to mind, you'd probably think of stacked squads like the New England Patriots (been there, done that), the Los Angeles Rams, and maybe the Philadelphia Eagles after seeing their win Thursday night. However, there's one wild-card team the oddsmakers will let you take an insane prop bet on. 


Thanks to Paddy Power, the Jacksonville Jaguars are the subject of an undefeated season prop bet at 500/1.

If you're scratching your head on this one, I'm right there with you. Especially since 500/1 odds are incredibly generous considering the state of their team.


Don't get me wrong, Jacksonville has a dominant game-changing defense. However, they're not a unit that can single-handedly carry a team to victories, like the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. And even if they somehow play to that level, there's too much inconsistency on offense to give the Jags a chance at a perfect season. 


The Jaguars have a strong running game, but that's about all they have going for them on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback Blake Bortles is mediocre at best, and the fact that he's throwing to a pedestrian receiving corps doesn't exactly bode well if the team falls behind.


If you want to throw down the bare minimum for this one, by all means, go for it. Stranger things have happened.
