Mejia was acquired from the Indians in the July 19 trade that sent relievers Brad Hand and Adam Cimber to the Indians. In 31 games at Triple-A El Paso, Mejia had a .328 batting average and capped off his brief stay there with three home runs over his last five games.

All in all, it will be tough to rely on a guy that won't be penciled into the lineup every day. However, a switch-hitting catcher with elite power is always an intriguing piece to add, especially if you have the room on your roster in dynasty formats.
