4 Players Raiders Fans Absolutely Can't Draft in Fantasy

Drafting your fantasy team is always a complicated science, especially for devout fans.

Between figuring out who’s going to have a big year, which young players to take a chance on, and when to draft a quarterback, it's easy to forget your favorite fantasy player may be the star of your least favorite team.

Real football fans have to make sure they’re not undermining their integrity by drafting someone from their biggest rival. For true Oakland Raiders fans, that means drawing a huge red X across the AFC West and one particular New England QB.

4. Philip Rivers, QB, Los Angeles Chargers

Rivers has been a Raiders killer since the day he took over as the starter in 2006. He started his career 8-0 against the Raiders and his career record against Oakland 16-8 with 41 TDs and only 18 INTs in 24 games. He also averages roughly 19.7 fantasy points a game against the Raiders, so while he's honestly a pretty good start for a regular fan, Raiders fans absolutely cannot draft a guy who’s been killing their team since 2006. You’ve got to have some shred of integrity

3. Kareem Hunt, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Hunt is a pretty new face to the Raiders-Chiefs rivalry, but he still did his fair share of damage in his first season. Averaging 101.5 yards over his two games in 2017, Hunt has already become a thorn in Raiders fan's sides. Additionally, he had a 116 yards and a TD in the Week 14 game that essentially decided the AFC West race and knocked the Raiders out of playoff contention. With two more huge divisional contests on the schedule in 2018, Hunt is just too dangerous to have on your team.

2. Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

Allen has been hurt for much of the last couple years, but he was healthy in 2017 and managed to average nearly 12 fantasy points a game against the Raiders. He’s primed for another big year in 2018 alongside fellow Raiders killer Philip Rivers. Raiders fans need to make sure they don’t draft him and hope he doesn't have two huge games against the Silver and Black.

1. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots

It’s been 16 years since the 2001 AFC Championship, but if Jon Gruden is still mad about it then Raiders fans should be too. The "Tuck Rule" game will  forever be infamously enshrined in Raiders lore. That should be enough for Raiders fans to not draft Brady. Add on the fact that Brady is 6-1 in his career against Oakland (including the playoffs) and averages 18.3 points per game, and he must be kept off your roster at all costs.
