49ers Reveal Exciting Jersey Change for 2022 Season

The last two weeks or so haven't been fun for San Francisco 49ers fans due to the recent Deebo Samuel situation. The good news for the fanbase is that the 49ers have given them an exciting (yet temporary) distraction in the form of an exciting new jersey change for the 2022 NFL season.

The new jersey changes will focus on the return of a pair of aspects of the 49ers' old uniforms that were popular among fans for decades.
The first is the noticeable return of the Saloon font that the 49ers previously used from 1972 to 2004 — a period where the organization won five Super Bowls. The returning font will be found on helmets, jerseys and other merchandise going forward.
The return of the third stripe on the jersey's sleeve is the other noticeable feature. It's been gone for the last five seasons, fans will welcome back its return with open arms.
The new jersey changes will certainly help the 49ers look like the dynasty that terrorized the NFL in the 1980s and 90s. San Francisco hasn't been that dominant lately, however, two NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl appearance in the last three seasons have fans feeling hopeful about the future.
It remains to be seen if the 49ers' new look will help them capture a championship next February. FanDuel Sportsbook currently has them in a four-way tie at +1600 for the sixth-best odds to win Super. Bowl LVII.
