The San Francisco 49ers made some waves of their own among a list of enormous early offseason moves Monday, shipping off DT DeForest Buckner to the Indianapolis Colts in return for the No. 13 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.

Having now lost a talented veteran at DT but gained an additional (and much earlier) first-round pick, here's a look at three NFL Draft targets that would make the most sense for the 49ers with their new No. 13 pick.

3. C.J. Henderson – CB, Florida

While Ohio State's Jeff Okudah is the consensus best cornerback in the NFL Draft and likely a lock to go as a top-5 pick this year, Florida's C.J. Henderson seems to have separated himself from the pack as the next best option. Henderson ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, which was tied with Auburn's Javaris Davis for the second-fastest time among all CBs. Henderson's 4.39 time is also noticeably faster than both the top two WR prospects in this year's class, between Jerry Jeudy (4.45) and CeeDee Lamb (4.50). Okudah will most certainly be off the board by the time the 49ers pick with their new No. 13 spot, but a guy like Henderson could be a great option if he's still available.

2. Henry Ruggs III – WR, Alabama

Tight end Georgie Kittle led the 49ers in receiving yards last season with 1,053 followed by rookie WR Deebo Samuel's 802. However, with Emmanuel Sanders likely to field offers from other teams this offseason, San Francisco could be in serious need of another wideout threat for Jimmy Garoppolo to use next season. Enter Henry Ruggs, who firmly sits behind Jeudy and Lamb as likely the third-best WR talent in this class, but who also burned the NFL Combine with the fast 40-yard dash among all 2020 participants at 4.27 seconds.

1. Javon Kinlaw – DT, South Carolina

South Carolina's Javon Kinlaw shot up draft boards after raising some eyebrows by reportedly dominating Senior Bowl practices back in late January. Ironically enough, Kinlaw was already projected to go No. 13 to the Colts with this pick, and it still makes perfect sense for him to go at 13 with the 49ers picking. Additionally, if the 49ers pull the trigger on a high-upside DT like Kinlaw at No. 13 overall, they could still address their need for a CB with their 31st overall pick before the end of the first round with a shot at someone like Alabama's Trevon Diggs.
