49ers Injury Report Brings Great News on Deebo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell
By Max Staley

Deebo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell have emerged as the San Francisco 49ers' most consistent skill-position players this season. Both players were questionable to play in Week 9, but it looks like both Samuel and Mitchell will be able to suit up.
However, both players could be on something of a pitch count against the Arizona Cardinals.
49ers’ RB Elijah Mitchell (rib) and WR Deebo Samuel (calf), each listed as questionable for Sunday, both are expected to play vs. Cardinals, per sources. But team also uncertain how long each player will be able to go, and is hoping there are no setbacks.

Deebo Samuel & Elijah Mitchell Injury Update
While it's obviously good news that both will be out there in some capacity, Mitchell and Samuel aren't the only 49ers' stars that will be on a pitch count. Tight end George Kittle is also set to play, but he's only expected to play about half the game.
49ers’ TE George Kittle, who returns Sunday from injured reserve after battling a calf injury, will be on a pitch count vs. the Cardinals and is expected to play roughly half the game.

Samuel has been tremendous this season. He's currently the NFL's second-leading receiver, recording a whopping 819 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Mitchell, meanwhile, has really started to come on as of late. He's had 36 carries for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns over the last two weeks. With the passing game being so banged up, San Francisco would love to lean on Mitchell against a Cardinals' defense that has struggled against the run.
Hopefully Mitchell and Samuel can make it through Week 9 unscathed.
