Projected win totals are a pretty good indication as to how talented a team is heading into a particular season. Yet, no matter what a team might look like on paper, there are still plenty of factors that could see them fail to meet the oddsmakers' expectations.

Here are four teams that could fall short of their projected win total, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, in 2019.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers - Over/Under 9

The Steelers finished with a disappointing 9-6-1 record in 2018, but doing so again, or winning more, this year will be harder than people think. Outside of JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner, Ben Roethlisberger's supporting cast leaves much to be desired and while the defense is good, it might not be enough to keep them in games if the offense sputters. Finishing the year in the AFC North cellar is highly unlikely, but an 8-8 finish might not be out of the question.

2. Oakland Raiders - Over/Under 6

The Oakland Raiders were a mess last year and things aren't looking too bright for 2019 either, as they have the toughest schedule in the NFL (seven games against 10-win teams, seven games against playoff teams) this upcoming season. To be fair, the Raiders are better on paper now than they were last year, but winning six or more games during their nightmare schedule might not be in the cards for a team in the middle of a rebuild.

3. Chicago Bears - Over/Under 9.5

The Chicago Bears took the NFC North in 2018 thanks to a dominant defense and uncharacteristic down years from the Vikings and Packers. Oh, and having a spectacular run of health went a long way, too. Unfortunately, things won't be as easy for the Bears this time around. Chicago has the fifth-toughest schedule in the NFL and lost key defensive personnel in coach Vic Fangio and safety Adrian Amos. A wild card spot is still very much a possibility, but winning 10 or more games to get there might be a more difficult task this season.

4. New York Giants - Over/Under 6

There's no sugarcoating it. The New York Giants are finishing up an offseason filled with questionable moves, which included the trading of Odell Beckham Jr. and Olivier Vernon. Big Blue will head into the 2019 season with a roster that's worse on paper than the team that finished 5-11 the year prior, and with a questionable defense expected to support a likely one-dimensional offense, six wins might be hard to come by in New York this season.
