Following an exciting Wild Card Weekend, we have another terrific weekend of NFL football ahead. The four-game weekend will be capped off in the "Frozen Tundra," as the Seattle Seahawks hit the road to play the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. As things currently stand, the Packers are the 4-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
If you're looking for an alternative way to wager on this one, here are four of the best prop bets for the NFL Divisional Round game between the Seahawks and Packers.
4. Aaron Jones: Over 14.5 Rush Attempts (-102)
The Packers are a run-first team that has won games this season largely thanks to Aaron Jones' showing on the ground. With a big snow storm expected the day prior, look for the Packers to continue pounding the rock with their backs, led by Jones, who is coming off back-to-back 20-carry games. He has also seen at least 16 rushing attempts in three of the past four games.
3. DK Metcalf: Over 4.5 Receptions (+114)
DK Metcalf has put together back-to-back terrific performances, totaling at least six catches, 80 yards and one touchdown in each. These performances have come as a response to the team losing their top three running backs. While the Packers' defense has played pretty well against the pass this season (No. 10 in passing defense per Football Outsiders' DVOA), the Packers' do not have a great defensive matchup assignment for Metcalf. The rookie WR carries a 6-foot-4-inch frame with incredible athleticism. Jaire Alexander, the Packers' top cornerback, is six inches shorter, while Kevin King has not played well, allowing the fifth-most yards in the league (842).
2. Davante Adams: Over 6.5 Receptions (-108)
The Packers' receiving cast hasn't been much beyond top-option Davante Adams this season. When Aaron Rodgers drops back to pass, look for him to continue targeting his top receiver Sunday night. Adams has a 30.7 percent target share in the 12 games he has played. FanDuel Sportsbook also has Rodgers' total projected passing attempts set at 33.5, which would roughly average out to 10.3 passing attempts going Adams' way in Sunday's matchup. If he sees double-digit targets, Adams should be able to haul in at least seven passes, which he has now done in three straight games.
1. DK Metcalf: Over 63.5 Yards (-112)
Let's double down on Metcalf here by taking a look at the yardage totals by some of the bigger receivers (6'3" and above) have seen against Green Bay this season: Allen Robinson (102 and 125), Kenny Golladay (121 and 72), Mike Williams (111). Metcalf had 81 yards in Week 17 and 160 yards in a huge NFC Wild Card Game performance on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.
